zappi has a control system that regulates the charging load. Therefore, according to the NEN 1010, it is possible to count with a lower co-ordinate factor. zappi ensures that the charging power is lower when there is more load in the house. The charging station can therefore be fused at a higher value than normal, but not higher than the transmission value of the main connection. According to this explanation, the electrician can therefore insure zappi at 32A (provided you have a 1 phase main fuse of 35A or 40A), and so you can charge up to 7.4kW. With a 3-phase 25A main connection you can insure zappi at 20A, this allows you to load up to 4.6kW.

We always recommend using 6mm2 cable from the fuse box to the zappi.

If you want to charge / insure a maximum of 16A, 20A or 25A, you can also set the zappi as such. This can be easily set via the menu. Look at our Youtube channel for more instructions.
